It seems like they did a really good job with it, glad it's a two parter. Watanuki "popping" was so cute, but overall it was touching. In 23 Yuuko's actually going to wear her "Witch" clothes! This is the first time in the anime, right? Wonder if they had her make the gods or not.

other than the movie, thaty would indeed be the first time she wars that outfit...does that mean they finaly kept in a TRC reference?

Well, they could still have her creating the gods without making it obvious that it had to do with TRC. She is out of the house for several days and calls Watanuki like she did in the manga, just minus the frame that shows her in the process of making the gods. I don't know what they're saying, so we'll have to wait until the subs come out to know for sure. But if she's wearing that outfit in 23, it makes me think that they probably left it in.
The phone part reminded me of the phone story in Tokyo Babylon. In that story Subaru said that an attack could come over a phone despite the area being protected by a kekkai (which his apartment and Yuuko's shop both have). When two places are connected by the phone line both areas become one, so then the kekkai won't work if an attack comes over the phone.
Yuuko must be using a "special phone" then, as she would never leave herself open like that. If you look in the manga when she's talking to him over the phone, she's not using a phone herself. :keke:

cant they even keep the ambiguos references in? [creating gods, the wings parasites being created by a sorcerer {hell, you dont make that conection till way later in TRC when yuuko mentions FWR is harvesting souls}
