Something like that, I know that they were both surprised to find out that she had awakened. The boy does feel bad. He was all depressed for a long time after the accident. ^^'' She does find out about the relationship, eventually.. although the guy tries to find it from her. Thats where her younger sister comes in and tell her one night about everything that has happened when she was in coma.
Lol, I'm like telling you all the entrie story. It's the anime itself is only 13 episodes long, if you can believe or not. So everything kinda happens so fast.
