Perhaps there could be a check box in the account setting of every member able to give cookies saying "Always include my name when giving cookies"? That way, if the cookie giver doesn't wish to be anonymous, the receiver will automatically know who gave it. That could also lessen the amount of off-topic posts with people informing about, and thanking each other for, given cookies (not that that appears to be a problem, but still). Also, when a non-anonymous cookie giver gives a member a cookie, a little form with the headline "I gives you a cookie because..." could automatically pop up, to be filled in and sent alongside with the cookie if the giver wishes to.
Maybe it's too complicated, at least the second part of my suggestion.
Tatasenko:
you are right Ando,it should be normal to know the reason why we have received a cookie, and the member who has given us it should be free to reveal or not his identity,so everyone would be satisfied on the two sides :okay:!
moreover, knowing who is the donors would be very helpful for the moderators to detect the abuses!
for instance if a newbie has oddly gained a huge amount of cookies in one go,the moderator would have the possibility to check his profile so as to find the cookies' trafficker :haha:
so now it's up to you to decide :keke:

And the question to follow would naturally be: are there big money to be gained in the cookie trafficking business?
Jokes aside, I don't really think cookie abuse is that major a problem here, but I, as not yet being able to give out the sweet things, feel that sending a PM or writing a post in a board with the sole intend of informing about a given cookie is a bit... too much. Some (optional) automatic thingie would be preferable.
