Off topic for a moment: Wotan was in the very first Dr. Fate story in More Fun Comics, which was also the comic book The Spectre debuted in...however, except for a couple of storyline in Roy Thomas' All-Star Squadron in the 80's, Wotan and Spectre never met during the Golden Age.
