I think that fantasy is what makes me tick about anime. Or anything that has funny things in it.

Comedy is ok, but only if it has action/romance or something else as well to stop it getting stupid

Action/Adventure, but as stated before, no anime is ever complete without romance. Every action/adventure series I like always has romance in it. Second would be comedy/romance (Love Hina!).
