lousy ending i tell ya.. i don't know how to end it... i was planning to end the story with THE scene.. but then, when i do that, i fear that KF fans might throw things at me and say:

(Remembers the time when a classmate of mine took my Parker pen, with my name engraved on it and I never got it back. He gave me the stubborn attitude that's like I-don't-give-d*mn-h*ll-with-your-pen T_T In the end, he went abroad and now, the pen did not come back to me. Rawr)

im like that too kuro woof. when i alost lost my CCS epic fic, i was so sad. there was no way if i even WANTED to, that id beable to recreate it. now i have both my epics locled safely away ^^.
as for people not careing, i understand. i once lent my Sailor Moon R: promise of a rose, japanese-subbed VHS to someone. she then neglected to bring it for a long time. school ended, so i had to forget over summer vacation. next year i demanded my vhs and you know what she said "sorry, i dont have it any more. my house burnt down" tch. she didnt even look REMOTELY sorry. she looked sorry that i actually remembered that she still had it. i still dont know if i should have beleived her. if that were true, wouldnt she have replaced it for me? this was WAAAY before the lisences were dropped! it still could have been bought at any movie store! sailor moon r movie was the best. and now ill never get it again unless i spend 50+ on amazon :( it takes ALOT to make me really hate people, and doing that made me mad.
i hope you can find it, if not, you could write a backstory summery of it. thats probably all you can do at this point. :(
