You need to open the animation in a program that supports animation editing such as Animation Shop. In order to edit an animation, you usually have to add the text in frame by frame.

You could also copy each frame into an image editing program and then paste it back into order in an animation program in the right order.

Point is, if you open an animation in a regular image editor, they do not support animations and therefore you are only editing the first frame because that is all they are able to open ^^

that's a good one, i recommend animationshop....it's easy to use and makes nice stuff
