Yes, there will still be monthly banner contests. ^^
This contest is only for the site layout and doesn't replace the calendar contests.
I think Little Wolf just meant there weren't any active contests, "at the moment".

Exactly. With a couple of contests running at once, Little Wolf wanted the spotlight on this contest so he waited until the others were done. Never fear...as Sakaki said, the banner contest will return soon :)
