Hmm I've gotta question

Kasawa Lanford:
Back when I was in the 7th grade, music was one of our requirements (so was courus*sp* actually)

Anywho, I know music is different from Band, but when christmax came around we gave our music teacher disks of music, some of the student actually did give her statues

I think I gave her a sheet of music. Anyway, seeing how I plan on being a teacher. I think the best to give them would be either a statue that is about music, or a sheet of music, preferably somethign they don't already have (if you can determine what they don't have)

A piece of music you wrote yourself would be cool...
Or pins? I got my band teacher this killer treble clef pin, that was all sparkly...
Ties are useful. Everyone needs ties, for performances and such.

Director of Music:
You guys all have cool ideas.  What frustrates me the most though is that I've known him for about 3 years...and I have no clue what his likes and dislikes are.  I JUST found out today, that his favorite cookie is White Chocolate Macadamia Nut..my personal favorite to XD.  But, all the teachers today got a bagful of cookies, so I dont think he needs anymore cookies.  As to his favorite CD's etc.  I dunno what his favorites are 0_0.  The coffee mug with the "I drink to much coffee." is a good one, I just dont know where to get one like that.  Sheet music?  I've wrote some myself. but frankly, they suck.  *shrugs*  Least ways thats what I think.  And its nothing really for him if you think about it.  As for candles...he doesnt seem like a 'candle guy' anyway if you get my drift. *sighs*  All good ideas. but nothing really that I could get him...  my mom says male teachers are harder, but thats not true.  last year i gave 2 guy teachers candy...its just that...well my band director has to be different.. ya know?
