Kasawa Lanford:
Chapter 4
Mark of Violence

Sakura examined a book while they where in route to where ever they where going. She read it a few time's before putting it down. A few other people where with them, some high school students who obviously didn't know her; mostly because of the comment they made about her

"Why are you bringing another grade schoolers with us?" A student asked

Kalshion folded his arms. "She happens to be a teacher, she just wears the uniform because we are low on materials for what most adults wear" he said and gave the in question the 'mind your own bussiness' look

The student backed down and went back to his studying. There ship the INF Sharia, flew through the clouds without any turbulance, although there certainly was. The sky wasn't very friendly to air craft, unlike a hunded years ago where jets could fly with little to no turbulance, but thanks to the recent attacks by those in space, the sky has become very dangerous.

Sharia was a self concious vessel, crafted using a strange material that Kalshion, nor Katarina, where willing to talk of. The material allowed the ship to take on different size's, weather big or small, it was heavily armed, although you wouldn't know that from the outside. The ship itself was very sleek and smooth, it felt like a baby's skin if you where to run your hand over it; there wasn't any windows or port holes that normal craft had. In order for the pilot to see what was going on, he used Sharia's own eyes, which where really sensors, to see what was outside. But another thing was, that Kalshion and Katarina where able to see through materials, so sensors where useless for them since they didn't need them

But, Sharia is an AI and a self concious beinging, she could pilot the ship all by herself with no interfence from anyone else.

Kalshion watched the outside of the ship, lightning bolts had been striking the ship but not causing any damage. As they approuched the mountain ranges however he noticed a slight increase in weather activity, rain, ice, and then hurricane force winds, none of which caused any difficulty for Sharia

The ship came about as it found a hole in the weather and started it's descent through the weater. "Ok... according to the information that Kinomoto-san found, there's a shelter near here where over 100,000 people went to when the attacks occured"

"What insurance do we have that those blasted spirits haven't already broke in?"

"A lot, to high in elevation, there's no way for those spirits to live up here, there's no body for them to feed off of and no plant life for them to jump from. It'd be almost impossible for a spirit to get here." Kalshion said; although he knew that nothing was impossible

As the ship came toward the ground Kalshion and the rest of the exhibition appeared just below it. There robe's glowed red for a few seconds before turning orange, then yellow and finally green. "Ok, seems where good to go." A student as she checked her robe over

Kalshion nodded and the group began there journey through the dead raven. As they went through they noticed a lot of animal bodys, most of them where all frozen from the intense cold air and snow that fell. "Errie feeling..." another student said, glancing back and forth, it was obvious by his movements that he was feeling uneasy

"Don't worry." Kalshion said as he knelt down and checked the snow. It felt odd to his touch, he removed his glove and ran a finger through the snow. When he removed it his finger had blood on it. "Hmmm...." he looked around; the blood worried him. Sharia.. he said telepathicly. I have blood, anazlse the ground and keep a lock on us, the moment you pick up a trace of a spirit or something else, get us out

He heard a slight chirp as she confirmed his report and he continued. As they crept through the dead raven they soon came upon the shelter in question. "Cheyon Mountain..." Kalshion said. "Isn't that the mountain the United Military used to monitor activity both in and out of there country?" a student asked. "Yep"

A student walked up to the keypad, he knelt down and looked it over before checking it out a bit further. "I think I can open these doors." he said and typed in a few key numbers. As he did that Kalshion heard something, and it wasn't coming from the inside. He heard a bang and looked up. "Get us in! NOW!" He yelled and he ordered the rest of his student to hug the door. Above them was an odd looking ship, odd to the students but not to him. He knew exactly what it was but was wondering why it was here

The door's soon opened, and not a moment to soon, as the ship opened up and bathed the area around the shelter in plasma. The group locked the door behind them and started running down the corridor, a moment later the door behind them exploded, throwing one student through the air but landing on both feet thanks to his own magi abilitys

An army of strange beinging appeared at the now exploded door; there arms held what appeared to be plasma cannons and Kalshion didn't like there look."Silver P's?" he said and shook his head. "Not only did Sakura come from another dimension, but now it seems those things did to" he looked around. "Keep moving." he said and continued to run. He noticed a distinct lack of members in his group, but also recalled them 4 of them had been teleported out by Sharia; which left just him, Sakura, and one other.

They rounded and corner and kept going, the robot's behind them continued to chase them. He glanced over his shoulder, and briefly levateted off the ground and fired a bolt of super heated energy at the roof, causing it to cave in one the robots and allowing them to keep going. They finally made it to the hanger bay when the bay doors blasted apart and the ship that had attacked them before was present, it's two large cannons staring straight at them

"Errrrrr..." Kalshion stared at the ships cannons, to close for his own barriers to protect them, but far enough away to perhaps reflect any shot fired. He heard a whine and noticed a build up on those cannons, he closed his eyes, and the cannons fired

Kalshion saw the flash, and then heard a whin. He opened his eye's and saw his sister standing in front of him, her hands outright and straight, a ball of blue energy emited outward toward the blast. "I can't leave you alone now can I?" he grinned and pushed the blast back into it's parent cannon

Everyone in that hanger bay ducked as the ship that had fired on them exploded from the blast being forced back. Katarina got back up and snarled, she knew just as much as Kalshion did that things weren't going as planned. "Whats wrong sis?"

"The academy got attacked, and our barrier failed." She cursed. "I've managed to evacuate everyone onto Sharia and into another world, but unfortantly, our only method of escape is to shift dimensions"

Kalshion agree'd and grabbed Sakura's hand. "Sis, we better leave now. Those spirits are more than likely drown to the destruction of the academy."

She nodded and looked around. She took out a symble that was similer to a mark of a covenant. She placed it on the ground and began to chant. "Bro... we'll be teleported to another world that's vastly different from our own, it appears to be in 17th century earth, but looks like magic is still around" the symble glowed blue as she concentrated even more; but it wasn't until it was complete is when she realized she had made a mistake in selecting that world. But before she could say anything; the group vanished from the bay and where they where headed was unknown now

The End?
