I think just saying that he thinks is too much of a compliment. He probably has no thought power at all.

Omg... Spoilers for episode 6 of the xxxHOLiC anime... Show contentRikuo and Kazahaya showed up! They actually KEPT the Gohou Drug crossover from the first volume of xxxHOLiC! I never expected that! How very awesome is that?! You can see some screen shots here if you're interested. That just so totally made my day. ^_^
And I agree, it's a compliment to say that guy was thinking.
