What do you want from santa for 2006?
moezychan:
I stopped believing when I was 8. Back then it was family tradition to spend Christmas Eve at my aunt's house for a family reunion. Everybody on my mother's side of the family. We were going home at about 10-11:00, and mom said that my 2 older sisters, my 1 older brother, and myself had to get to bed before Santa came.
I went to bed, and I was so excited that I stayed up like the naughty little girl I was when around midnight I heard a noise coming from the living room! Like any child, I thought that it might be Santa Claus! I wanted to see what he really looked like, so I snuck out of my room to have a peek. I went down the hallway and looked around the corner and who did I see placing presents under the tree; it wasn't a jolly old man with a red suit, it was my parents!
I haven't believed in him since that Christmas. Of course, I remember how it felt to know that there wasn't a Santa Claus, so I will never tell a child there's no such thing. I wouldn't have the heart.

My parents love to tell me and my sisters to keep believing in Santa Claus or we won't get presents from anyone. My poor little sister still believes him because she wants presents. I'm not sure if my sisters believe him still, but I highly doubt they do. I think they just pretend to believe in him.
I, am unsure whether to believe in him or not. I'm kind of a believer, and kind of not. I guess I'm both. I dunno. But I DO NOT believe in the Easter Bunny, for sure. I have evidence (that I saw with my own two eyes) to back up my beliefs that he (or she; I never knew the gender of the Easter Bunny). But I'm not sure this is the proper place (topic) or time for that.

Chances are they don't want you to grow up, because then you'll become teenagers who don't listen. This assures them that you'll always remain a child, or at least, they think it will work.

Hmm, interesting. I never thought of that. That just may be true *nods at moezy-chan*
