Yu-Yu Hakusho

<< < (6/7) > >>

Robin Sena:
"Kami ang mga Ghost Fighters!'

LOL! Fun memories...

Tenkuuken:
Yeah. Eugene, Alfred, Vincent, and Dennis... I remember now. How Pinoy XD. Strangely enough, they didn't translate "Rei Gun."

Robin Sena:
That's one of the things I liked on it.

"Kailangan ilabas ang isang daang porsyento ng inyong lakas!"

Ah... good times.

Kina, The Dark Keyblade Master:

--- Quote from: Tenkouken on June 17 2006, 05:24 pm ---^ Yu Yu Hakusho is usually translated in English as "Poltergeist Reports", though I read somewhere that it actually means "White Book on Ghosts".

--- End quote ---

Oh...I was really wondering about the repeated "Yu" parts...

Haha! "Rose Whip!"

Wah...I miss "Ghostfighters"...

Capella:
I think the translation of Yu Yu Hakusho is something like this: The first "Yu" means playful, the second means ghost (and is the same as the "Yu" in "Yusuke"). The "Hakusho" literally means white paper, but referes to a government report. "Playful ghost" gets translated to "Poltergeist", thus: Poltergeist Report. Not that I actually know Japanese, I'm just remembering what I've read. I'm a Yu Yu Hakusho geek. :sweatdrop:
Kurama would be my favorite. He's so...subtly psychotic. Polite, collected, cares about his friends, but psychotic nonetheless. I totally want to be him. And Hiei is adorable (as is his sister - I adore Yukina). Love also for Yomi, Shura, Hina, Yusuke, Shizuru...most of the cast. Except for Sensui.
