Tomoyo had a sad look. "I hope Sakura doesn't have to resort to that. Fortunately there are others with her that could do it, especially now that her other world friend Arcademan is here." Then she realized something. "She told me rather reluctantly about her adventure over on his world. She said she was never so scared in her life. She suffered an injury that would normally be fatal but came back and helped saved Arcademan's world. Though her wounds had healed, she did tell me once in awhile, without warning, she dreams about the way she 'died' in the Arcademan Universe."

Arcademan: In The Cards... is my other fanfic story in which Tomoyo is referring to. Sakura went to The Arcademan Universe to help save Arcademan when she had a dream about him being killed by an archmage named Destrux and during the first part of the battle, Sakura was seemingly KILLED by him. She recovered in time to save the day but this is the first hint in Legacies United that she had told anyone about her adventure to the Arcademan Universe save for Kero.

I have that nasty tendancy to leave chapters in a cliffhanger, then wait awhile to resolve them. Hopefully the end will come soon...who's end remains to be seen.

I wonder if the other part of the darkness has Sakura-hime's feather.........

Character profiles and plot explanations:

1) Mr. Mind, the World's Wickidest Worm first appeared in a Captain Marvel comic serial adventures during the 40's and he, along with the Monster Society of Evil tried their best to destroy Captain Marvel over a storyline that was spread out over 5 years (almost like mine LOL!) . At the end of the series, Mr. Mind was captured, put on trial and executed and stuffed and mounted in a museum. However in the 70's when Shazam was revived by DC Comics, Mr. Mind reappeared, explaining that he was hiding the entire time. The worm comes from another planet and wears goggles and a radio voice box that allows him to talk.

2) The Invincible Man was created by Mr. Mind to take on Captain Marvel head-to-head. Using the energies of the universe to power his creation, Mr. Invincible was almost as powerful as Cap. Captain Marvel was able to defeat him by trapping Mr. Invincible in a cocoon of Marvelium, a mixure of metals only a Marvel can put together. It blocked the power source and was sealed and Mr. Mind once again was sent to prison. Later, he was freed by a faerie named Maiden Moonbeam but turned against her. She, along with Captain Marvel Junior and Flora stopped the being but Moonbeam perished from injuries during the fight (Arcademan/Captain Marvel 3 Crossover Story I wrote 3 years ago)

4) InuYasha and Kagome are from the manga/anime series InuYasha. He is a half-demon (his father was a dog demon, his mother was human) and resides normally in the Fuedal Era of Japan. Kagome fell into the family well and was transported back into the Fuedal time. She is a reincarnation of the priestess Kikyo, who InuYasha loved until he was seemingly betrayed by her and sealed to a tree for 50 years. They seek the Sacred Jewel (called the Shikon Jewel in the English translation of the anime). How they ended up on Earth-S will be revealed very soon.

5) Since this IS a TRC forum, we should all know about the feathers of Princess Sakura. They are pieces of her lost soul and as shown during the adventures of Syaoran, Fai and Kurogane, they have been known to give those who have contacted the feather great power. The going pattern in the story is The Darkness now has or will have access to three sources of great power: Sakura's feather, the Shikon Jewel and Mr. Invincible. Pity the heroes
