Cardcaptor Sakura Themed Story
Chapter 9: Chapitre IX
(by Arcademan, added on 2005-09-26 14:44:40 AEST) [Discussion Topic]

After Syaoran walked Sakura back to her house from the hospital, he asked one last time if there was anything he could do for her. "No...not tonight but thank you for everything." she said, her voice sounding extremely tired however managed a smile that made Syaoran blush slightly.

"Get some rest and we'll go back to the hospital together tomorrow morning. Good night." With that, the young boy excused himself and headed to his home.

As Sakura headed up the stairs and into her room, she was greeted by Kero, who was waiting patiently for his master.

"Welcome back, Sakura. How's Tomoyo doing? I'm really sorry that I couldn't stay...can't have people finding out who I really am." But Sakura wasn't listening as she laid on her back on her bed and stared off into space, the events of the day still fresh in her mind. Kero flew to her side and asked "Are you okay?"

Sakura turned to Kero. "Sorry. Have you ever seen this 'Darkness' creature before or has Clow Reed mentioned him in the past?"

"I'm afraid not, kiddo. Something like that I would've remembered, though I don't remember all of my past memories. That would've stuck out. Maybe Eriol can help out since he has Clow's memories." But as Kero looked again at Sakura, she was fast asleep...exhausted from her ordeal. Kero picked up a corner of the blanket and covered her body with it.

"Sleep well, Sakura. For some reason I have the feeling the worst is yet to come." and he flew back to his little bed within the dresser drawer.

As the young Cardcaptor slept, in a world away Arcademan and Flora were searching for answers about The Darkness themselves and hope the mystical entity known as Parrillusia could provide some help. Flora originally went by herself but was joined moments later by Arcademan, who decided he wasn't going to wait back at the Arcade Brigade Headquarters. Parrillusia lived in a dimension above the world known as the Plane of Higher Existance, where angels, faeries and even demons dwell...a place where mortals seldom tread. For Flora that wasn't a problem since she was a plant elemental pixie. As for Arcademan, he didn't care about that. As the two flew to the entrance to the dimension, Flora told Arcademan to wait on the outside while she went to look for Parrillusia, otherwise known as 'PixieP' but he wouldn't take no for an answer.

"I'm going in...ready or not!" As the gate opened, the two came in and Arcademan saw...absolutely nothing...a endless void.

Flora turned to Arcademan and with a sarcastic tone said "Told you so! Mortals are not permitted to see within the boundries of the Plane of Higher Existance! All they see is..." Her voice trailed off as Arcademan appeared to concentrate for a moment and then said "I sense her presence this way. Do not mistake me for a mere mortal." he said with a smirk.

Flora was surprised. "How is that possible? How can you see things here?"

"I'm mortal...yes...normal? No. My powers came from The White Wizard. I was his first creation since he retired from the mortal ways. Besides, I died twice and figured this place was similar to The Death Zone...but I can't stay here for too long because it's taking a lot of concentration on my part to 'see' the dimension so we need to hurry and find Parrillusia." But before the two could start out, a voice shouted to them from above.

"What do you need of me?" It was Parrillusia. Arcademan, not one for suspense, said right back "We need your help, PixieP. We need you to lead us to The White Wizard."

"He's long removed from the living world, Arcademan. What is so important that you must speak with him?" asked the elder pixie. Then Arcademan told her of their recent battle with the entity called The Darkness and that he had known The White Wizard from the past. Once the tale was done, Parrillusia paused briefly and said. "Return to the Arcade Brigade Headquarter. I will contact you shortly."

As Arcademan and Flora started their flight home, Arcademan turned around and said. "Parrillusia...it was good seeing you once again." There was no responsed from her as she closed the entrance to the other dimension. Flora looked at the hero and said "Don't take it personal, Arcademan. Staying in that dimension kinda sucks the humanity out of you. That's why PixieP seems cold."

Arcademan said nothing...his heart became a little sad since earlier on in his life, Parrillusia was considered a person that was more than a friend to him...through all the good and the bad...and he now felt the world around him become a little bit more alone in the world.

As Sakura Kinomoto and Arcademan struggled to find out some answers about their common enemy, The Darkness of their worlds continue to explore the realm as their powers continue to recharge, eagerly awaiting word from its third self on Earth-S, who thanks to Dr. Thaddeus Bodog Sivana, found out a possible plan to reunite at least two of his forms via The Rock of Eternity. A sound of an elevator inside the warehouse could be heard by The Darkness and Dr. Sivana.

"Ahhh...there are my collegues. Once we get aquainted, we can make our way to The Rock of Eternity. Their unique abilities will more than aid in our quest. Heh! Heh! Heh!!!" The villains were a Who's Who of Captain Marvel's enemies: Mr. Mind, the World's Wickedist Worm, Ibac, Captain Nazi, Oggar, the World's Mightiest Immortal and once a student of the wizard Shazam. The Darkness looked at them all and smiled.

"I sensed such evil thoughts out of you all. Help me conquer the worlds and I'll leave this one in your capable hands." said the dark mage as suddenly the most powerful member of the Monster Society of Evil appeared...Black Adam.

"YOU!!! Hellspawn of evil!!! What are you doing here?!!" yelled Black Adam.

"Mighty Adam!!! Prodigy of Shazam! Prepare to die!!!" yelled back The Darkness as the two readied themselves for battle...just as they did once ago half a millennia ago.
